Tom Selleck is a well-known American actor best remembered for portraying Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum. He’s also a film producer who’s appeared on a number of other television shows, including Three Men and a Baby.

Thomas William Tom Selleck was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 29, 1945, to Robert Dean Selleck and Martha Selleck. He was born and brought up in California and went to Grant High School, where he finished his education in 1962.
He went to the University of California for studying the business administration. Then he went on further with studying the art of acting at Beverly Playhouse.
Tom Selleck starred in The Dating Game in 1965. The television programs Lancer, Sarge, The FBI and Marcus Welby, all featured him as a guest star. In the 1970s, he starred in a number of other TV shows as a guest star.
He starred in the television series Magnum, from 1980 until 1988. Way Out West, Countdown to D Day, Reversible Errors, Crossfire Trail, Running Mates, Last Star at Saber River, Broken Trust and A Case of Rape are among his many TV appearances.
Selleck has also had a recurrent role on the television show Friends. The Closer, Biography, Boston Legal, Las Vegas, North America and Arnie are among his other TV appearances.
Since 2010, he has been a regular on Blue Bloods. In 1970, he made his film debut in the film Myra Breckinridge. Following that, she appeared in the films Terminal Island and Daughters of Satan.
