Sean McVay is a football coach in the United States who currently serves as the head coach for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. When the Rams hired him in 2017, he was only 30 years old, making him the youngest head coach in the annals of the modern National Football League.

McVay was born in the city of Dayton, in the state of Ohio. Sean’s father, Tim, was a defensive back for Indiana University football. Sean lived with his family in Dayton until he was six years old. From 1965 through 1972, his grandpa, John McVay, was the head football coach at the University of Dayton.
In 2008, he began his coaching career as an assistant wide receivers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a quality control and wide receivers coach for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League in 2009. In 2010, McVay was the Washington Redskins’ assistant tight ends coach.
He was the Redskins’ tight ends coach from 2011 to 2013. From 2014 through 2016, McVay was the offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins. In 2017, he was named head coach of the Los Angeles Rams. In 2017, McVay was named the Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year. Jon Gruden, Mike Shanahan, and Jay Gruden have all been his head coaches. McVay and the Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022.
The Rams allegedly sought to lock down McVay with a hefty contract extension in January 2019, as the team surged through the NFC Championship series. McVay was one of the league’s lowest-paid head coaches at the time, earning $2 million per year. Pete Carroll and Sean Payton, the league’s two highest-paid coaches, were earning $8 million a year in salary.
Sean was exploring an offer from Amazon to quit the NFL and become a television commentator in March 2022, about the time his Rams contract was virtually quadrupled. He was apparently given a multi-year contract of $100 million by Amazon.

With the help of Ted Rath, McVay is able to do his regular 20-minute workout with ease. Squats, leg lifts, and resistance band workouts are all part of the circuit-based regimen. He can also perform a plank in the middle.
Sean has been romantically linked to Ukrainian model Veronika Khomyn for some time. They met while he was coaching the Washington Redskins and she was a student at George Mason University. Their engagement was announced in 2019.
