On 21st of March 1979, Gorga was born in New Jersey and is of Italian origin. During her undergraduate years, she attended New Jersey City University and lived in Bayonne, New Jersey. Melissa was passionate for entertainment industry from her young age.
In 2011, Gorga became a prominent cast member of Bravo’s reality television series The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She was featured on the cover of the August issue of Boardwalk Journal in 2011. She’s also been featured in Paper and Us Weekly photo shoots.
She has also sought a career in music. On August 13, 2011, her single, On Display, was released on iTunes. Other singles were teased in numerous episodes of season four, and Gorga released a four-song EP. She’s published two more songs on iTunes as of 5 July 2012, How Many Times, which was released on April 29, 2012, and Rockstar, which was released on June 10, 2012.
I Just Wanna, her fourth song, was released in September 2012. It was accompanied by a music video, which was written by and featured hip hop vocalist Santino Noir. Gorga informed ENews in January 2016 that she will not be pursuing her music career, but that she might consider doing so in the future.
In 2014, Gorga made her debut on HSN with a jewellery line. She founded Envy by Melissa Gorga, a clothes store in Montclair, New Jersey, in late 2015, on premises developed by her husband, Joe.
Due to a disagreement with her business partner, Jackie Beard Robinson, the store was temporarily shuttered in January 2017, however it reopened later that month. Envy’s items were erroneously linked to Robinson’s by Gorga, according to Robinson’s lawsuit filed in December 2017.
Gorga’s Homemade Pasta and Pizza in East Hanover, New Jersey, was founded by Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas in May of 2017. In January 2018, the restaurant shut down because it required bigger space and new management.

Melissa met Joe Gorga in Cancun, Mexico, over spring break in 2002 while on vacation with friends. Joe fell in love with her at first sight, despite the fact that he didn’t talk to her that day. After he looked for Melissa, the two ran into one other again at a beach bar in New Jersey, where they hit it off.
They married on August 20, 2004, after dating for a time. Antonia, Gino, and Joey, the couple’s three children, were born in 2005, 2007, and 2010, respectively. Joe and Melissa’s squabbles over her going out and working cooled a little when she cooked a family meal for them, reassuring him that she still had time for him and the kids.
