As a result, he underwent extensive surgery, leaving him with physical limitations. However, this did not prevent him from taking an optimistic attitude. Dylan began playing wheelchair tennis when he was 14 years old. Alcott was ranked 4th in the world under the age of 18 when he was 16 years old.
He did, however, finish his schooling at Brighton Grammar School. Dylan was interested in swimming in addition to tennis and basketball. As a result, he participated for Victoria in the same event. Dylan earned bronze in his first event with the Australian Rollers.
He became the youngest player to win a gold medal in wheelchair basketball over the years as he was the youngest participant in the competition. Tennis, on the other hand, was left behind. With the 2016 Rio Paralympics, he re-entered the tennis world.
His performance during the event was commendable. In the Men’s Quad Singles and Doubles, he earned gold medals. Dylan was named the 2016 Australian Paralympian of the Year as a consequence of his achievements.
